Terms of Service

1. The service

VoiceLabs is a web application you use in your browser. Text-to-speech and voice cloning run on VoiceLabs servers: your inputs are processed on our GPU infrastructure and the generated audio is streamed back to you and saved to your account’s library. An internet connection is required. New accounts include a limited free generation allowance; a Pro subscription unlocks the full service, subject to a monthly fair-use limit on generated audio.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use VoiceLabs. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions & billing

VoiceLabs is offered as a single VoiceLabs Pro plan at $8/month or $59/year (USD). Payments are processed by our payment providers (RevenueCat and Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize us and our providers to charge your payment method for the plan and interval you select, plus any applicable taxes.

4. Free trial

New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your trial automatically converts to a paid subscription and we charge the plan price ($8/month or $59/year, as selected) at that time. The trial length, renewal date, and price are disclosed to you at checkout before you confirm.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time — no phone call required. Manage or cancel your subscription online from your account’s billing page (or the billing-portal link we provide). To avoid the next charge, cancel before your trial ends or before your renewal date.

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
• You keep access to paid features until that period ends.
• When your subscription lapses or is cancelled, your account returns to the free tier: generation beyond the free allowance is disabled, while your voice profiles and library remain in your account.

7. Price changes

We may change subscription prices. We will give you reasonable advance notice before a change takes effect. If you continue your subscription after the change, you accept the new price; if you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

8. Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partial periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact [email protected]and we’ll review it.

9. Acceptable use

Your use of VoiceLabs must comply with our Responsible Use policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. In particular, you must have the necessary rights and consent for any voice you clone or generate, you must not use VoiceLabs for impersonation, fraud, harassment, or other prohibited purposes, and you must disclose AI-generated audio where required by law or platform policy.

10. Your content & responsibility

You retain ownership of the audio you upload and the audio you generate; we do not claim ownership of either. So that we can operate the service, you grant us a limited license to host, process, and store your inputs and generated audio solely to provide the service to you. You are solely responsible for the content you create and how you use it, and for complying with the laws that apply to you.

11. Software & licenses

VoiceLabs is built on the open-source VoiceBox project, licensed under the MIT License; the underlying model engines are provided under their own respective licenses. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the VoiceLabs service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. All VoiceLabs and Devino marks remain ours.

12. Disclaimers

VoiceLabs is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, or that generated audio will meet your quality expectations.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoiceLabs and Devino Solutions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or the Responsible Use policy. You may stop using VoiceLabs at any time by cancelling your subscription, and you can request deletion of your account as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your residence apply. Questions? Contact [email protected].
